Sony has introduced a new over-ear wireless headphone in India. Last month, the Sony WH-CH720N made its debut in global markets. The audio device offers high-end specs and is priced under Rs 10,000. Let's take a look at what the new headphones are capable of.
The Sony WH-CH720N over-ear wireless headphones feature oval-shaped earpads and a slider for a secure fit. The ear cups have a swivel design. On the right ear cup, three playback control buttons and an ANC-specific button are located. The left ear cup houses a power button, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
The Sony WH-CH720N features a 30mm dynamic driver and the V1 chipset from the manufacturer. It comes with DSEE technology that can upscale audio even when it is compressed and active noise cancellation.
Users can communicate with people without removing their headphones, thanks to the ambient sound, which helps them be aware of their surroundings. As a result of the user's surroundings, adaptive sound control can also change the audio balance and noise cancellation. Precise Voice Pickup technology is equipped into the headphones for crystal-clear voice calls.
According to Sony, the WH-CH720N can offer a battery life of 50 hours without ANC and 35 hours with ANC switched on. The wireless headphones come with fast charging capability. It supports Google Fast Pair and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity, allowing it to connect to two devices at once.
The Sony WH-CH720N has been launched with a price tag of Rs 9,990. It is available in three colour options: White, Blue, and Black. Starting March 17, the audio device will be sold at Sony Centre Stores, Sony Exclusive Stores, Sony Online Shop, and e-commerce websites.
